Vector Illustrations

Vector work is the part of my practice that stayed purely visual.

I draw in Illustrator, Figma, and Inkscape, mostly flat and geometric, and it feeds back into everything else. Building an icon set teaches you more about visual hierarchy than reading about visual hierarchy does, and a lot of what I know about restraint in an interface I learned by deleting anchor points.

A selection is below. Some of it is personal branding, some came out of research and product work, and some is shape and color for their own sake. Click any piece to see it full size. If you need an icon set or an illustration drawn for something you’re making, I take commissions and I’d like to hear about it.
